upgraded without incident

Whoa, WordPress 2.7 is shiny!  And fortunately for me, the same magic button I originally clicked on my web host’s site to install WordPress had transmogrified into an “Upgrade Now” button.  Gasp!  SiteGround, how did you know?  You spoil me, you really do.  Now I wish I hadn’t dragged my feet about upgrading.  It took literally 5 seconds.  And this is nice.  I feel the same urge to run my hands over the dashboard as I feel in someone’s brand new car.  Beautiful!

Plus the upgrade didn’t seem to ruin anything.  All my settings, files, photos, etc. are all in perfect order.  This certainly made my night!  Now I can focus on my secret projects…

videos!

I have a few minutes before I run off to my friend Simone’s house, so I thought I would share a couple of videos I uploaded to Vimeo last night.  There are a few more on my Vimeo profile here.

Here’s me being childish and NOT resisting the urge to climb a pile of filthy snow:

And here is Marc as we’re putting his luggage in my car at the airport:

Hi, I’m Marc. from Katie Durham on Vimeo.

So that’s all for me for the moment.  Oh wait! I found this cool site through and ad on Flickr where you can self-publish professional quality books.  Nothing new, really, but I still got excited about it.  Maybe I should finally write something!

Caio, internets!
